@here Hey Elyrians! Yesterday saw the launch of our September store promo, with a heavy focus on wolves and the Faedin ceremonies around the Festival of Passage. After the promo went live we got tons of feedback from the community asking for a 6th item - the ability to purchase additional wolves. You got it! The store has been updated with a new ‘Domesticated Wolf’ item. It’s a $10.00 item and allows you to purchase as many wolves to add to your pack as you like. Cheers!

@here Hail, Elyrians! Today we begin Round 2 of map voting! Huzzah! But before we get there, I wanted to share a couple quick updates with you. First, while the designers and I did our best to whittle the OCE maps down to 5, alas we were unsuccessful. So in Round 2, OCE will be voting for their favorite out of a set of 8 maps! This should give you more choices, since you were unable to cull out your top 5 favorite in Round 1. Second, rendering of the maps is taking longer than anticipated with the additional details and maps. So, Map Voting Round 2 will begin at 3pm PST today! (About 6.5 hrs from now). But, I didn’t want to leave you all hanging, so feel free to spend the next 6 hours examining a draft of Map N. This hasn’t gone through the compositor yet so there’s no lines or text. But it should set expectations for the other maps. Enjoy

@here Hail Elyrians. We’ve updated the maps on the website for Round 2. In particular, we’ve emphasized several of the terrain features such as elevation and water, to make it clearer where there is water and where there are contours in the terrain. Note that these are somewhat exaggerated for clarity, but are otherwise a clearer representation of what to expect from the terrain. In addition, we’ve added the duchy boundaries to the OCE maps. Note: Your images may not have refreshed and the old images may still be in your cache. On each page, as well as each lightbox, you may need to press CTRL+SHIFT+R to force a refresh. @here Hail Elyrians! Over the last month you’ve joined us in our third major community event. Whereas the Free Kingdom of Elyria was primarily focused on a single server, and the Searing Plague revolved around a single event, the Map Voting community event will have a permanent, lasting impact for the rest of the lifetime of the servers. While we still need to go and breathe life into the worlds you’ve voted for, you have chosen the skeleton which will be animated by the adventures of hundreds of thousands of players over a decade or more. It’s unfortunate that our tiny little team cannot shine a light large enough on this event to really make people understand what has occurred here. You as a community have played a pivotal role in the future of your worlds. You’ve not only molded the sand, you’ve shaped the sandbox. And now, it’s time for the team and I to tally up the results and prepare for what comes next. Later today we’ll make an announcement of what’s to come on Monday; among them, will be the results for this two-week long election. So stay tuned for today’s announcement, and stay tuned for the results on Monday! And from me to you, thank you all again for not only helping to make this dream a reality, but for being a part of it.
