My roommate and I are going to start characters this weekend. I am an old EQ/EQ2 etc. player and he is coming from WoW and Star Wars. Do we have a presence in the game? If so is it a serious or family style group? Any tips for starting out?

Hi! There is a presence in-game, the Federation Starbase is pretty much fully upgraded, and work is in progress for the KDF Starbase. The number of people that are on is highly variable, and very casual. There might be a few people on or none. There is cross-faction chat (channel OTGSTO)
When you wish for an invite, please post your character@account in GG Game Invites and someone will pick it up and promote you.
Your roomate needs to be an OTG member, however (see Join OTG forum)
